NYX Hot Single eyeshadows have landed in the UK. If you saw my NYX haul, you'll know I bought 9 NYX single eyeshadows. I think I went a bit crazy!
Some of these are hit and miss, but I'll tell you which ones are worth it, and which ones are not.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Each NYX Hot Single Eyeshadow are £3.50 each which is incredibly affordable. I got these from a NYX store in single refillable pans, but on the Boots site, they're in separate containers.
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
It includes 85 different eyeshadows in a variety of colours from shimmer to matte.
HOW DOES IT WEAR?
Some shadows are hit and miss. With all of them, I'd recommend wearing an eyeshadow primer or base underneath as they won't stay all day without it.
WHAT COLOURS DID I BUY?
I bought 9 eyeshadows in the following colours:
Blue Jeans is a blue denim colour. This swatches incredibly well, and I love the colour. It's very shimmery and such a unique colour.
Butterscotch Caramel is a mustard shade of yellow. This took a few times to swatch properly, and i don't feel like the colour payoff is that great as it's matte.
This shade is kind of taupe with some shimmer. I'm undecided on this as it's beautiful on the lids, but it didn't swatch too well.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
I wore Blue Jeans and within an hour, the colour started getting patchy and faded all over the eyelid.
The matte and slightly shimmery colours do a bit better. I love Heat & Sin.
