I came across it again, and decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. Made especially for Olive and Asian skin tones, it's quite unlike anything on the market these days.
Described on their website as, "A lightweight and luminous liquid base, formulated with light diffusers which unify skin tone and cover imperfections effortlessly. Specially designed ‘true colour’ pigments work perfectly with your skins’ natural tones in an ultra-blendable formula."
Quite a lot of claims! Does it live up to the hype? YES!
I received my package from Amazon the day after I ordered it, and immediately tried it on as we were going out later that night. It is quite light, but buildable coverage, and I only needed a small amount to cover my whole face, and what's more, it matched instantly.
That's a pretty rare thing to happen with asian skin tones!
As for the concealer, it's described as, "Your ultimate skin-trick for banishing blemishes and concealing imperfections. Antioxidants defend against ageing free radicals while Vitamin E helps soothe and heal blemishes, all in a lightweight super-blendable formula.
Press the delete button on flaws for a perfectly photo-shopped effect."
Does it live up to the hype? Not sure on this one. I'd say it's more for heavy coverage and erasing under eye circles rather than highlighting, as it's a very thick, solid consistency, but I actually like that as I've been suffering from some hormonal acne, and needed something heavy duty to cover up the spots and scars.
At £12.50 for the foundation* and £9.00 for the concealer*, I think it's a bargain! Would I buy it again? The foundation for sure, as I think it does what it says on the tin and I'm already planning on buying it in all 5 shades for my professional kit.
As for the concealer, I need to test it out a bit more, before I can deliver a verdict.
They also have blusher, mineral foundation and powder compact in their line which I really want to try out!
