Nip + Fab might be associated with Kylie Jenner, but this high tech skin care range helps those of us who suddenly find ourselves on a second adolescence in our 30's a little helping hand.
I avoided this range for a long time, first of all because it's quite pricy (not as pricy as some of the anti-aging potions and lotions I'm now more familiar with), but also the name Dragon's Blood had me thinking of tiny dragons being used for their blood #KHALEESI.
When my skin started acting like an out of control, hormonal teenager I knew I needed to take matters into my own hands. My usual methods, and perpetual laziness combined with more disposable income (thanks full-time job!), meant i could finally afford to splash out.
When an offer came up from Superdrug for a 2 for 1 on this range for only £9.99, I couldn't resist trying it out.
The set came with the Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask and the Cleansing Pads, which was an absolute steal compared to how much these normally retail for individually.
The Dragon's Blood Fix range is described on Nip + Fab's website as:
The Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Cleaning Pads are very moist cleansing pads to help cleanse your skin and plump it up. When I use it, I do notice my skin is cleaner, and it's perfect in the morning when I don't use my Clarisonic (which I only use in the evenings) to effectively double cleanse the skin after my usual gel based cleanser.
They're not designed to take makeup off as you'd be using quite a few of the 60 pads, but great as a quick fix to cleanse skin when you don't want to wash your face or take the last vestiges of makeup off after using makeup wipes.
The Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Plumping Mask is described as helping to plump up the skin. It can be used in 2 ways. One way is a normal mask which you leave on for 10 minutes and the other way is to apply a thin layer and put it on as an intensive mask overnight.
I used it the normal way first and it's a very refreshing mask to use after exfoliating and very light.
I really enjoyed my introduction to the range and can't wait to use more products from it soon.
