Kiko Soft Focus Concealer (Review)
The Kiko Soft Focus Concealer seems like a great dupe for higher end concealers, but does it live up to the hype?
Kiko is a budget makeup company from Italy that is taking the UK by storm. Their pocket friendly prices and high-tech formulas seem to be a hit.
The Soft Focus Concealer is described as:
I colour matched myself to Shade No. 2 (Natural) in the Kiko store in Westfield, White City. Retailing at only £7.50 and with 4 available shades, this would be suitable for fair/medium skin tones. I couldn't see anything for darker skin tones in this range.
In terms of application, it comes in a click pen applicator that can be brushed onto the skin. I find the click pen really annoying and it always comes out with too much product which ends up spilling on my clothes or the floor.
The application is pretty smooth, and it does live up to its illuminating properties, but it tends to fade after an hour or so.
Would I recommend this? Honestly, no.
I think the problem is the click pen and thin formula. If you're looking for a long-lasting formula then this isn't it.
