Makeup Geek Silver and Grey Eyeshadows (Review)
I shared a Makeup Geek eyeshadow haul in March, and today I'm sharing some of the recent additions to my Makeup Geek collection.
Now, these are not my usual colours, but I bought these specifically for a Prom client who wanted glittery silver eyeshadow for her Prom (my first ever client!) and I managed to get them in time.
These shades are silver and dark grey for a smokey effect, but be very careful it doesn't make you look ashy or like you've been punched!
The first eyeshadow is Makeup Geek's High Wire foiled eyeshadow which is this STUNNING silver sparkly eyeshadow. Shortly after taking this picture, I accidentally broke this whilst on the job (boo!). I was super upset but powered on.
This swatches like a silver foil and is not ashy, with Mac's Fix Plus this would be an ever more striking shade.
This is Makeup Geek's Stealth eyeshadow and is a matte grey shade. This is a true grey and swatches beautifully on the skin.
Makeup Geek's Galaxy eyeshadow is a darker grey, and is a matte shade.
Here's a swatch of them all on the skin. As you can see, they are stunning colours, and I find that they work great as a dramatic smokey eye, when paired with the warmer transition shades I shared earlier.
My client said they wore really well throughout the night, and I would totally recommend them!
